Hebrew Letter Classifier

— Project 1

Draw & analyze with this Hebrew letter classifier I coded. I used FastAI, which is a deep learning library on top of PyTorch, to train the classifier. Flask, HTML, CSS and Bootstrap was used to design a clean web application. I'm planning to expand this project.

Seen Or Not Seen

— Project 2

SONS. Seen Or Not Seen. Keep an overview for yourself of the movies you've seen and the movies you want to see. It interacts with an API to get information of movies. This is a web application build in Laravel which is a large PHP framework.

RMNDR

— Project 3

RMNDR is an application to remind me what tasks I have to do. The user can add, edit, delete and change the status of the tasks which are stored in a database. A python script sends me an email every day with all the uncompleted tasks. Authentication is also implemented. The web application runs on a Raspberry Pi.

Tic Tac Toe

— Project 4

I build the Tic Tac Toe game in Python. I coded two versions. One with a command line interface (CLI) and the other with a GUI. For the latter I used Arcade which is a Python graphics library.

Anonymize

— Project 5

Anonymize yourself by detecting and blurring your face or detecting your eyes and overlaying them with googly eyes. This project is build with Python and OpenCV.

Ferme Leclercqz

— Project 6

This is a website I made for a friend. Ferme Leclercqz is a vacation residence in the Ardennes near the French border. The website is made with HTML, CSS and Bootstrap to make it user-friendly for all devices. Computers, tablets and smartphones.

Twitter Bot

— Project 7

Hibot is a Twitter bot which can tweet a message in 100+ different languages. For now, Hibot tweets hello every day in another language. It runs on my Raspberry Pi which is configured to execute the script every day at 19:00 GMT+1. I might switch up the message in the future. We'll see.

Instagram Bot

— Project 8

Just like the Twitter version, Hibot posts translated messages but is now extended to upload generated images on Instagram aswell. The whole process is fully automated. It's a bit too much to explain here, so check out the project breakdown for more information.

Hi, I'm Nick

I'm currently working as a software engineer where I mainly help to improve and expand our automated testing framework. In 2019 I graduated as an industrial engineer electronics-ICT from KU Leuven in Belgium. In my spare time I like to go to the gym, play video games, meet up with friends, build little projects, watch series & movies or spend time with my parrot pet, DC.
